Choose the time you’d prefer to start when you register. The sooner you register the better chance you have to getting your preferred wave.
Participants choose their designated wave time at the time of registration. Waves start every 30 minutes.
Participants are responsible for knowing the Buffalo Battle start time and check-in method.
Participants are encouraged to report to the START LINE at least 15 minutes prior to the start of their wave.
Waves of up to 200 entrants will start at the following times:
10:00 Elite Timed Wave is the only wave that is timed.
ODESSA: Late Registration & Packet Pickup
Packet PickUp September 25, 2015, 5:30pm-7:00pm:

Packet will be available the day before at a designated place in the race city, and will also be available on site, 8:30am-9:45am. For your convenience and to help our wonderful volunteers, we encourage you to pick up your packet the day before.
*Your packet will include your race bib, safety pins (race belts may be used and furnished by you), cool T-shirt, and any other neat things furnished by the Battle Generals.
What To Bring At Packet Pick-Up:
1. Your photo mug shot is a must, you must be YOU to pick up our packet, NO imposters are welcome.
2. A change of clothes is recommended but really up to you.
3. An initialed, signed, and dated copy of the entrant waiver. This is not-optional and must be done before you are accepted as a racer in this event.
4.This is an individual event and each entrant is required to pick up their own packets. No pick up by friends is permitted.
When To Arrive on Race Day:
Please take into consideration what you have to do to get in place to race: park, pick up packet (if not done earlier), place your bib and chip on, and find your way to the starting line. We recommend you give yourself at least an hour before wave time to get this done. Parking will be available close to the event start/finish area. We recommend car pooling if you have at least one friend!! Gear Check will be available at the packet pickup area. You can leave the stuff you will not carry while racing. Please put your name, cell phone and race number on your bag before leaving it with the volunteer. It is your option to use this or not and your option as to what you might leave at this tent. **For Buffalo Battle Lubbock, Buffalo Springs Lake charges an entrance fee to the lake, $6 for adults, $3 for children 6-11 and $2 Over 65.
What To Bring to The Race:
*Appropriate footwear is highly recommended, with at least one change. You will get some mud on you and plenty of water.
*The race bib must be worn at all times.
*Spending money for food, Battle gear, and whatever else you want to throw your money away on.
*A mean ass attitude is very necessary!
What To Leave At Home:
*A wimpy attitude!
*No real weapons such as firearms, knives, hand grenades, or bows and arrows
*No glass containers will be allowed
At no time should you put yourself or others around you in an unsafe atmosphere. If you decide to seek assistance from a volunteer or your friends doing the event with you, then you are really smart!! Go for it!
Battle Refreshment and Hydration:
During the race there will be a water station at each mile of the race course.
Water and electrolyte drink, will be available after you cross the finish line.
After you finish the race you will be given a ticket for one free beer. Food items will be available for purchase and BYOB.
Party Like An Animal:
BYOB, bands, and fun will begin approximately 30 minutes before the start of the first wave until 2 hours after the start of the final wave.
One free beer is included for each entrant who is of legal age to consume alcohol. Be responsible-do not drink and drive.

Rules and Guidelines:
*Official entrants(meaning you filled out the registration, signed the waiver, and paid the fee) are subject to the following rules and guidelines(after all we have to have a little law and order around here).
*Non-participants are strictly prohibited from entering or accessing the Buffalo Battle course or any obstacles at any time for any reason without prior written approval from event officials.
We want to have a fun and safe event, so entrants must do the following:
*Must abide by all instructions given from the race director, race staff, volunteers and medical personnel.
*Must understand and acknowledge that Buffalo Battle is a crazy way to spend the day and accepts all risks associated with the event(signing of the waiver is a must).
*Must be physically able to complete the course and all obstacles.
*Must be 15 years old or older on race day in order to compete.
*Must wear the provided bib number clearly shown on the front of the torso. No entrant will be allowed to race without a bib number.
*Must agree to have your picture made by friends, family and official race photographers and allow Buffalo Battle to use the photos future marketing materials for promotional purposes.
*No wheel devices of any kind are allowed on the official course and will be removed immediately if found on the course.
*Urinating or defecating on or anywhere near the course is strictly prohibited(that is why we provide porta potties placed through out the course).
*Registration is closed when the maximum capacity is reached(this is determined by each individual venue).
*Event officials reserve the right to modify any event rule at any time for any reason
*Entrants shall be responsible for knowing any modification to the Buffalo Battle rules published prior to the event.
Buffalo Battle Safety:
In case of injury Buffalo Battle medical personnel may remove any entrant if they feel they should be removed, based on their medical opinion.
Entrants assume all responsibility for all medical expenses incurred as a result of training and participating in Buffalo Battle events.
Race organizers may cancel or delay the race due to severe weather or in the event of a disaster.
It is recommended that participants wear running shoes and dress appropriately.
Any entrant who disobeys instructions from any course official is subject to disqualification and /or removal from the race. This includes but is not limited to unsportsmanlike behavior, offensive language, nudity.
No entrant, after leaving the course, may return to the course.
No short cuts are allowed and entrants must stay on the marked course.
No entrant will be allowed to use an unregistered pace setter.
